posted by: bipolarexpress (reply) post date: 04.02.08 (1:27 pm) kudos to you for letting the cat out of the bag about your old poopie boss!! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 04.02.08 (2:02 pm) Reply to: bipolarexpress Thanks! The HR woman didn't look too impressed when she heard some of the things my boss said to me. At least she knows even though I doubt he will be reprimanded for anything! posted by: wolfen (reply) post date: 04.02.08 (2:57 pm) Sounds like a busy schedule you've got for yourself. Sometimes people can be pretty insensitive about what other people are going through. I hope your friend realizes soon that you need to spend your personal energy on your dad's estate and starting a new job and that you don't have a lot leftover for consoling others because you haven't even got any extra for you! posted by: LadyG (reply) post date: 04.02.08 (11:27 pm) Good you let them know how terrible he was. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 04.03.08 (7:43 am) Reply to: wolfen And it looks like my schedule is just getting busier! I think I may cancel my massage therapy. It looks like I will have more dad stuff to take care of. posted by: ggirl (reply) post date: 04.03.08 (12:12 pm) Well, the 5th, 7th and 9th sound good, but it's too bad you may have to cancel the massage. You probably have an enormous amount of toxins stored in your body from all the stress. Until you've lost a parent, it's impossible to know how it feels. Your friends, even thought they may not understand, should be offering support. That includes helping clean the house. Just my opinion. posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 04.03.08 (1:29 pm) I bet that felt good. You should have laid into him in person too! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 04.04.08 (4:23 pm) Reply to: ggirl I forgot about the toxins. Often masseuses and massage therapists tell me to drink lots of water after my massages. I am going to try to keep the massage therapy appointment as best I can! My friends who know what it's like to lose a parent have been phenomenal! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 04.04.08 (4:24 pm) Reply to: bawdy Only I was lame and even offered to take action that would help the next tech writer. |
