posted by: squirrelzone (reply) post date: 07.09.08 (5:32 pm) Good luck. Love me some almonds. posted by: PirateGirl (reply) post date: 07.09.08 (6:23 pm) Hope you can get the legal advice a.s.a.p.! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.09.08 (10:22 pm) Reply to: squirrelzone Thanks! And almonds are a great source of protein! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.09.08 (10:22 pm) Reply to: PirateGirl Thanks, I hope so too! It's actually not easy finding a lawyer. Either they don't get back to you, or they're not taking clients! But I only want to ask a few questions!! posted by: Fitgirl (reply) post date: 07.10.08 (8:07 am) Actually, you should be eating almonds for their fat, not their protein... there are much leaner sources of protein out there! (But almonds are high in omega 3 fatty acids which is very good for you!) ;) But I eat almonds daily too... they are just so damn good! PS... I can only imagine your frustration with your dad's GF... she sounds like a real "peach". posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.10.08 (8:11 am) Reply to: Fitgirl I am still out of almonds! I was never really into them until recently, but they sure make a nice snack! Ugh, my dad's "girlfriend" needs to get out! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 07.10.08 (12:02 pm) I wouldn't want any of my family reading my e-mails if I died, nor would I read any of theirs. But if your dad didn't express such a desire, surely you must have a right to access them. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.10.08 (1:03 pm) Reply to: bawdy I don't have access to my dad's email, but he had a whole stack of printouts from Cindy. Normally I wouldn't care about his emails, but these ones showed the kind of relationship they had a certain point in time, and I thought that information would be important. I am collecting much supporting information as possible to show that they were not in a marriage-like common law relationship. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.10.08 (1:04 pm) Reply to: bawdy I guess I hadn't mentioned that the only emails my dad had were from Cindy. Even though she was the sender, the emails are property of my dad's...not hers. She should have saved her own email if she wanted to remember everything. posted by: PirateGirl (reply) post date: 07.10.08 (3:15 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Oh - I was thinking that you already had your own lawyer. And as far as the emails go - I guess as long as you can get acess to them to copy what you need to support your case, then it wouldn't matter if Cindy got them too posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.11.08 (11:25 am) Reply to: PirateGirl I do have my own laywer, but I've trying to get a few more opinions from other lawyers, too. I figure it can't hurt. posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 07.11.08 (12:08 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Sorry, I didn't intend to imply that I thought you shouldn't infringe on your dad's privacy. It is understandable that you'd want them for legal purposes. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.11.08 (1:21 pm) Reply to: bawdy I accept your apology! Not that you needed to! posted by: PirateGirl (reply) post date: 07.11.08 (11:19 pm) Reply to: rosietulips very true! - Hope you can get ahold of a couple more. |
