I am always logging into my bank account to check on my accounts. I noticed there were two charges from the same restaurant that I ate at least weekend. One was for $80 and the other was for $0.69. I am not sure what the second charge was for, but I called up Visa and told them that that 69 cent charge was not authorized! So...I got my 69 cents credited back to me. Everyone is trying to rip me off cents at a time. |

Good that you did that, it pays to watch it closely because of the hidden charges being slipped into peoples account from different sources.

Maybe they forgot to add tax? their problem now!! I paid insurance on a policy I canceled for 2 months before noting the charge, called my bank to sto payment as of May!! they did and I got 268.00 back!!!

Good for you for getting your money back! The first charge from the restaurant included the meal, tax, and tip, so I don't see why they would add another charge. Besides, they would need my authorization first!

You should have tried for the $80.....(just kiddin) My idea is that when they punched it into the machine they only punched in $80. and so they just added it as a second transaction....did you check your bill? Maybe it was $80.69......I love coming by your blog, for you always give me something to think about...... judy

I probably should have re-checked my receipt, but my gut told me the first charge was correct! And if I was wrong, I will apologize!
