Swallowing
09.26.08 (8:42 am)   [edit]

Well, I am back to feeling tired in the mornings and being able to fall asleep with no problem.

Over the last couple of years it's been easy for me to get up in the dark. Hopefully, it will get easier soon! Waking up the dark is not very enjoyable right now! And next week I go back to my workouts! I am really spending a bundle on supplements.

On the positive side, I am getting better at swallowing!!

What I like least about taking pills/supplements is when I taste them. Or if I feel them in my throat. Or they start to dissolve too quickly. I used to take just one at a time, and those horse vitamins would just get stuck. But now! Oh ho ho ho! THREE capsules at a time! I still can't do the non-capsules in multiples of more than ... one. BWAHAHAHA I don't like feeling my teeth on those capsules either.

I can swallow beaucoup de pills with a minimum amount of water so it's not an issue with me.

I've had the crud for nearly two weeks now, blahhhh! Hope yours don't hang on as long as mine has. I miss ya chicklet, eventually I'll set down and fill you in on all the happenings in Hicksville, USA, heh!

You are so lucky! I even have to throw my head back to bring in my friend, gravity! Don't you get dry pills stuck in your throat?? Gross!

Once in awhile one gets stuck, but a couple more sips of water usually frees it up.

See, I don't want any pills stuck that require freeing!!!!
I found out there are Dexter novels!!!!!

Yep, the series is derived from the novels, which I haven't read. I watched the first episode of season three yesterday.

Has Season 3 started already? I have Season 2 on my kitchen counter still, and I still haven't watched the finale of Season 1! I am so behind!

I'm up to five pills at a time. Cut my taking medication time in half. lol!

The decrease in time is the only good thing about popping mouthfuls of pills all at once! I use less water, too! But swallowing 6 at once was just too weird. Back to three at a time for me@

I take a handful - think a tall shotglass - three times a day with just a little swig of water. I'm a great swallower. :)
