Hope you have a fun weekend. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.31.08 (1:09 pm) Writing things down do help me forget things in my brain! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 10.31.08 (1:39 pm) Try to get tickets to the gold medal hockey game. BWAHAHAHA! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 10.31.08 (2:35 pm) Reply to: bawdy I could try :p I'm not made of money though! I think tickets for the opening ceremony are $750!! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 11.01.08 (1:01 pm) Reply to: rosietulips I'd rather see an actual event, but hockey and figure skating are hard to get tickets for. I think skating and short track skating races would be fun, or downhill skiing. posted by: PirateGirl (reply) post date: 11.02.08 (4:07 pm) I think any tickets would be great! - Go for what you want and tell Mr. Nick if he can't make it, you'll take someone else - (You snooze - you loose!) :P posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 11.03.08 (1:37 pm) Reply to: bawdy The chances of getting tickets are great if you get a package, so I'm going to try for that and then something like the luge or the skeleton. BWAHAHAHA posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 11.03.08 (1:37 pm) Reply to: PirateGirl Well, if Mr. Nick ends up letting me choose for the both of us...he won't be allowed to complain! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 11.04.08 (12:17 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Watching luge or skeleton live would likely suck. You'd just see them in a blur as they whiz by. Cross country skiing would be dull. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 11.04.08 (1:28 pm) Reply to: bawdy I figure watching luge or skeleton would be like watching kids go down waterslides! I want something exhilarating to watch! Did you know that curling is extremely popular? posted by: PirateGirl (reply) post date: 11.05.08 (9:50 am) Reply to: rosietulips There ya go! ;) posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 11.05.08 (1:15 pm) Reply to: rosietulips I like curling. There is a ton of strategy involved and tons of precision. The skill of the top curlers is amazing. Plus, drinking is encouraged amongst fans..at least at the briars. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 11.05.08 (1:51 pm) Reply to: bawdy I don't know anything about curling! But I would try it! YEAH! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 11.06.08 (11:46 am) It would take a lot of practice to get to the point where you'd be any good, I'm sure. I tried it once. It wasn't easy! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 11.06.08 (1:14 pm) Reply to: bawdy I'd probably slip and fall on the ice first... posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 11.07.08 (12:05 pm) Reply to: rosietulips They just announced that the Soo will be hosting the 2010 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, which is the women's national curling championships. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 11.07.08 (12:25 pm) Reply to: bawdy Will you attend?? posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 11.08.08 (12:12 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Who knows? It's a week long event and still a year and a half away. |
