Printer ahoy!
12.23.08 (11:19 am)   [edit]

There was recently a printer problem at work, and I don't think it's been resolved. I just tried to print a 177 page document double-sided and in colour -- only it came out single sided and in black and white. I also tried doing the same thing with a smaller document and I even wanted to print two pages to a side, and it still came out single-sided. I love saving paper! Instead, all I could hope for was to not get caught printing off iPod manuals!

Mr. Nick gave me an iPod Touch for my birthday! I can't wait to use it! Apple has gotten smart...they didn't include a manaual. They give you a URL for you to download the manual yourself! When I got my iPod Photo, the package was about the size of a small cake. When I got my iPod Touch, it was about the size of a deck of cards!

Those ipod touches look neat. Still, I can't see the appeal of watching movies on such a small screen, but its other uses are intriguing.

I hope to watch shows while I'm on the bus! That would be nice! And the Touch is about half the thickness of my Photo. And I am most thrilled that I can get Internet access wherever there is free wireless! YEAH!

Well, I'm jealous. I want one! My nephew, who has all the latest gadgets, let me check out his Ipod Touch a few weeks ago. Of interest to me is how the Touch appears to work so well with documents. I have a Palm Tungsten T/3 and basically use it as my Bible. On it are multitudes of translations, commentaries, Bible Study programs, etc. But it is dated technology, and rather heavy. I think the Touch would do everything, and be faster and lighter and more adaptable to oncoming technology.

Hope you enjoy it!

Happy Birthday to you ~ nice gift ~ I must admit I have not used an iPod so am not really familiar with what good they would be for me, but it seems everyone really likes theirs ~ enjoy!

Maybe there is an iPod Touch waiting for you under the Christmas tree! I am not even sure if the Touch's full capability. I'm looking forward to finding out!!

Thank you! I don't find the software with iPods to be all that intuitive, but the iPods nowadays have so many features!
My birthday was on the 21st :)
