It's good now to just have a job. posted by: themarina (reply) post date: 03.10.09 (11:02 am) Yeah, that is sad to hear but like Ladyg said, at least we still have work! Apparently the crew's been hanging around Robson St. (how totally cliche). That said, you find out anything, be sure to let me know! I'll keep you posted if I get any scoops. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 03.10.09 (11:47 am) Reply to: Ladyg My current job is not permanent. My contract ends at the end of June even though talks of having it renewed until the end of 2009 have been promising. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 03.10.09 (11:49 am) Reply to: themarina I don't think the reduction is that bad. In Canada, it turns out that people's work contracts can be changed without consent if the changes are minor. There are some good updates at the Confessions of a TwiCrack Addict blog, too. My friend was able to point out that Jacob was shopping at the Yaletown Choices, and Edward was walking by the Sheraton Wall Centre -- just by looking at the photos! posted by: auntconi (reply) post date: 03.10.09 (11:57 am) As others stated, "too bad" but like you said "more money than you were making last year" ~ now you will have to make better 'choices' as to how you spend your 10% less money! Have fun making your choices!!! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 03.10.09 (1:01 pm) This economic downfall really sucks. posted by: twitchy67 (reply) post date: 03.10.09 (2:21 pm) Vices and entertainment are recession proof...so learn to gamble, sell drugs, or build a still in your bathroom. Or get a voice acting gig. I'm not gonna suggest prostitution, cuz that'd be dumb. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 03.11.09 (10:39 am) Reply to: auntconi I guess I should be making better money choices anyway. I have been a little less frugal than I should lately... posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 03.11.09 (10:40 am) Reply to: bawdy People need to start mining again! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 03.11.09 (10:40 am) Reply to: twitchy67 I joked about prostitution to Mr. Nick. He was not amused. posted by: sweetvampiress (reply) post date: 03.11.09 (8:19 pm) oooooooh can't wait for new moon to come out. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 03.13.09 (11:26 am) Reply to: sweetvampiress I keep looking for signs that they're filming whenever I am out and about. This morning I saw a sign for filming of "NPM". I was like, "could it be New Moon"???? I can't wait for it to come out either! |
