You can play sports, jog and do exercises in your home. posted by: inkspector (reply) post date: 05.16.09 (7:49 pm) Today at a rich neighborhood yardsale, there was free gym equiptment, enough to start your own outfit! If only I read this post before I went sailing . . . posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 05.17.09 (7:48 am) Reply to: bawdy My pendulum suggested I not have joined Gold's Gym. I need to the gym for the weights. If I want to gain the kind of strength I want, I will need weights! I was thinking about my tour at the gym. The sales guy asked me what I did at the gym. I told him free weights. But he showed me and tried to wow me with the weight machines and the cardio equipment. Now that I think about it, I can't even remember if the free weights were set up. The gym is brand new and is still getting their renos done. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 05.17.09 (7:48 am) Reply to: inkspector The hard part would be moving that exercise equipment home! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 05.17.09 (1:19 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Buying your own weights would save you money. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 05.19.09 (10:28 am) Reply to: bawdy The thing with weights is that once you get stronger, you leave the lighter weights behind! If I had a garage, I'd have my own gym...or some ground level room. BWAHAHA I don't think my neighbours below me would enjoy my workouts! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 05.19.09 (1:30 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Buy a Bowflex then! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 05.19.09 (2:01 pm) Reply to: bawdy What for???
