Bye, stuff!
05.25.09 (9:50 am)   [edit]

I didn't think packing was such a bad thing. But I guess the last time I moved, I didn't bring much with me. I have learned my lesson in being a pack rat! I already buy less because I think about its disposal.

Anyway, last night, I purged 6 boxes of old textbooks. I should have probably gotten rid of my tech writing textbooks too but I always think maybe one day they would be somewhat helpful! I already got rid of a lot of regular books a while back. Maybe I can pick out some more.

So far, I have 8 boxes packed and this is a quarter (?) of my non-essentials!!

I love purging closets and cupboards. My hubby is the pack rat and it feels like the constant inflow of "stuff" is throwing off my "chi" some days. We are purging HUGE before we move as well...I cannot wait! :) Hope you enjoy it too!

Moving can be stressful. How much did your yard sale rake in?

Purging felt really good! I guess it was all very bittersweet. There is a lot more to go! Throwing out stuff is really good for chi!!

The yard sale raked in almost $600!! We had a lot of stuff. I can't wait to be moved -- that's all I can say!

Congrats on the yard sale ~ and good luck on more purging!
Purging old 'stuff' is not something I do easily ~ at all!
I don't know why I get so attached to 'stuff' but I do...

$600? Wow, most of the ones I see hardly seem to sell anything. You must have good junk.
