I threw out more stuff yesterday and it sure felt good!! Good bye old photos of Big Mouth Boy. I hate having gaps in my photo albums though. There are also a number of photos where I just cut him out.

And today I just made a change to go paperless with my bank statements. The reason I made the switch was that I'm cheap. A cheque I wrote was cashed, but I have no recollection who it was for. If I want to look at the cheque image online, I have to pay! But if I receive paperless statements, I can view my cheque images for free! But the less paper I have, the better. Now...should I still keep my old receipts?

The property management people also ought to call me back quickly so we can get the ball rolling on other biz!

People still use cheques??? I hate using them because it takes sooo long for them to be cashed that I will forget i wrote it and then spend the money. I like having the money taken right out of my account right away.

Would save only those receipts that would be useful for tax purposes, but also in case you get re-billed for something you paid for!!! I paid 84.00 to upgrade my computer, a year later they must have found some old paper lying on the floor and billed me for it...kept no receipt, so had to go to the bank, hunt year old checks until I found it, then got a copy of the check. I billed them for $40.00 to hire transportation to the bank, time spent, and to pay for the copy....they sent me a check for $40.00 YAY!!!! nice to win one!!!

Yeah, some places still prefer cheques, so I always make sure to have some on hand. When I write a cheque, I hope it gets cashed quickly too! I've slacked off with keeping tracking where my cheques are going.
