Firemen are generally awesome...very courteous and eager to assist. And in my opinion they can't be paid enough for the risks they are willing to take to save lives. posted by: barnabus1 (reply) post date: 06.14.09 (7:09 pm) If you feel you have to give him a key...give him one that won't work!!! Should he ever discover it, be surprised!!! and that you will get another one made....someday....maybe!!! What's with that lazy bum Mr. Nick he should be willing to help you all he possible can...He's mad? you should be mad!!! posted by: PirateGirl (reply) post date: 06.14.09 (8:56 pm) Hope the move goes well :) posted by: FinalyFree (reply) post date: 06.14.09 (11:18 pm) I say, "you gotta earn that key, baby!" heh. The two times I've been 'moved' professionally I didn't tip, they charged out the ying yang as it was! lol posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.15.09 (11:06 pm) Reply to: bawdy Apparently standard is tip $20+ for movers. I guess I did that. And more! Now that I have moved out of my place (well, sort of...I am still sleeping at my old place), I am happy to be out of here! Surprisingly, my mom thinks I should have just sold it! Firemen...I have such respect for them! And some of them are pretty cute! That reminds me -- while I was Boston, I noticed a lot of cops and they weren't very fit looking. I didn't think police officers really looked like Chief Wiggum!! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.15.09 (11:07 pm) Reply to: barnabus1 BWAHHAA Ah, barnabus, you always crack me up. I was mad that Mr. Nick didn't help more, but he was a big help yesterday so that made up for things. At least I am not angry anymore. Anger is not good for the soul! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.15.09 (11:08 pm) Reply to: PirateGirl Thanks! The move went fairly well, in terms of the movers...but how things operate at my new building -- I could have strangled someone!! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.15.09 (11:09 pm) Reply to: FinalyFree I can't believe how much my move cost! But i had a lot of stuff and never imagined how long it would actually take!! I tipped my movers; moving is hard work! But I think they could have charged me half an hour less... posted by: PirateGirl (reply) post date: 06.16.09 (12:20 am) Reply to: rosietulips BTW - how's the view from the new balcony?? posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.16.09 (8:20 am) Reply to: PirateGirl The view is nice! Since I am higher up, I can see quite far across the city and I get a view of the mountains, too! Now I just need to unpack all the boxes that are in front of my windows!! BWAHAHAA posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 06.16.09 (12:02 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Well, cops spend a lot of time at doughnut shops. Maybe they get them for free in Boston. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.16.09 (1:43 pm) Reply to: bawdy Ew, why would anyone want to take advantage of Dunkin' Donut doughnuts??? I want dessert right now...maybe I should go to Timmy's... posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 06.17.09 (1:37 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Take advantage of doughnuts? Is that what the hole is for? BWAHAHAHA! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.17.09 (1:48 pm) Reply to: bawdy Oh, you have a dirty mind! I had one timbit today. If there any chocolate ones left in the lunchroom, I am going to have more! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 06.18.09 (12:34 pm) Reply to: rosietulips You're just noticing my dirty mind now? :-o posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.19.09 (7:47 am) Reply to: bawdy Yes!
