They get into a terrible mindset, and it affects all their actions..Don't fret her...she is a short timer, and though she might last a few months, it's doubtful, as her hate for it is ever increasing!! Don't let her attitude affect you!! and never agree mentally with her! posted by: auntconi (reply) post date: 06.25.09 (9:14 pm) That is so sad. Too bad she just doesn't enjoy her family now. Like barn said ~ don't let her attitude affect you. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.25.09 (10:50 pm) Reply to: barnabus1 I know my coworker would gladly be working elsewhere...I wish she was able to find another company she liked better. It's just that's hard to find an employer who will hire you part-time and allow you to work at home most of the time. I suggested she become a contractor, but she doesn't want to do the finding clients part... posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.25.09 (10:50 pm) Reply to: auntconi I know she loves being with her girls, too! But I guess working part-time allows her to spend more time with the kids. posted by: PastorDave (reply) post date: 06.26.09 (6:25 am) I'm learning more and more, as I go along in life, what a drag and negative influence is the whiner. Don't you hate being around such a person? She just kind of sucks the energy out of the room. I'd advise to stay away from her. And there's no need to complain to the boss about her- he will see quickly that she is not contributing to the company with her attitude. Hope things get better. And now, I will cease to whine about her whining. posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 06.26.09 (1:27 pm) Just tune her out and don't let her negativity drag you down. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.27.09 (7:47 pm) Reply to: PastorDave I don't think I will be able to avoid my coworker that much! BWAHAHA But she's only going to be in the office a couple of days a week, and we'll be working on different projects. My boss really likes the work that she does though. She was (is?) a total work horse! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.27.09 (7:47 pm) Reply to: bawdy I'll do the best I can. I wonder where she will sit in the office now...We used to share an office, but when we downsized, I lost my office and now I sit in a cube, and there aren't any free ones next to me! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 06.28.09 (12:48 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Maybe you can share a cubicle. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.29.09 (11:28 am) Reply to: bawdy And maybe there is no room to share apace! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 06.29.09 (12:31 pm) Reply to: rosietulips She can sit on your lap! |
