Eye drops are not tasty
06.30.09 (9:24 am)   [edit]

Last week I found a sty in my eye, so I went to the doctor at a walk-in clinic. She prescribed me some eye drops that I was to use for 7 days. Seven days later, and the sty is still around. I went back to the clinic and got a different doctor. He told me the drops I was using were not very good so he prescribed me some new ones. 3 more days to go. I really want to be able to wear contact lenses again. It's hard to see with these glasses, and my eyes get really tired. I know I will need to get new glasses soon.

And I wish we knew about our company switching extended health care providers! Now I am pretty much getting double the benefits this year! WOO!

Double the benefits! And it does one no good unless there is a health issue or something. Stay healthy!

How long are the waits at the clinic? Do you not have a doctor of your own?

Sorry about the sty, hope that improves soon.
Great news about the benefits.

Waits at walk-in clinics can be quite lengthy if you're not first or second in at the beginning of the day. I've waited 3 hours before. But I went to this particular clinic because it was close to my work. If I was to go to my regular doctor, I'd have to wait until a Saturday and her Saturdays are usually full!

I think the sty is improving with these new drops! I think getting enough sleep helps, too. I think my sty got worse the day I was working like a maniac and was utterly exhausted!

I hope you never get a sty again! I only like walk-in clinics for their convenience. I would prefer to see the same doctor every time, otherwise.

I hate waiting for anything, especially doctors!
