I felt I deserved a treat! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.25.09 (7:01 am) Reply to: Ladyg Cake is delicious. My friend had TWO birthday cakes yesterday. One was a delicious chocolate one with chocolate frosting and the other had sort of a puff pastry with cream and chocolate filled cream puffs! They were both heavenly. posted by: Ladyg (reply) post date: 07.25.09 (9:13 am) Reply to: rosietulips, Rosie both of those sound delicious. posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 07.25.09 (1:42 pm) Reply to: rosietulips I bet you'd be like Veruca Salt if you visited Willy Wonka! posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 07.25.09 (7:55 pm) Step away from the chocolate... posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.27.09 (11:01 am) Reply to: bawdy I'm not sure if I've seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I think I did at a birthday party like almost 30 years ago...Tell me more about Veruca Salt! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.27.09 (11:02 am) Reply to: scubadiva Chocolate is calling my name. I think that is the only food I could never give up completely! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 07.27.09 (12:31 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Actually, I meant Violet Beauregarde. Her entire body turns blue, before swelling and expanding like a balloon and then becoming similar to a large blue ball. Willy tells the Oompa Loompas to roll her to the juicing room to be squeezed of the blueberry juice that had built up inside her. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.27.09 (6:07 pm) Reply to: bawdy Should I watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? Was the remake better? It is blueberry season right now! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 07.28.09 (12:28 pm) Reply to: rosietulips The movie versions are called Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I recommend seeing the Gene Wilder version. I did not care for Johnny Depp's interpretation of the character at all. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.28.09 (12:58 pm) Reply to: bawdy Did Tim Burton do the remake? I'm not really a fan of his work. It's too dark! posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 07.28.09 (4:34 pm) Last time I had it was when I was maybe 10? I am on a pure protein diet for the time being. Heading to the beach next month - girl needs to look fabulous for my birthday beach bonanza. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.29.09 (8:27 am) Reply to: scubadiva Pure protein? What about the vegetables! I`ve given up on having a beach beautiful body this summer...BWAHAHAHA posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 07.29.09 (12:21 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Yeah, it was Tim Burton. The Willy Wonka character is creepy and disturbing. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 07.29.09 (1:17 pm) Reply to: bawdy I would like some chocolate right now! posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 07.30.09 (12:34 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Denied! I know you're not into sweets, but if you ever want to eat some really good ice-cream, try the Purdy's stuff!!!! OMG, it's heavenly. posted by: bawdy (reply) post date: 07.31.09 (1:10 pm) Reply to: rosietulips What is Purdy's...a brand name in stores or a franchise shop? posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 08.02.09 (8:40 am) Reply to: rosietulips I'm sticking to just protein for 2 weeks - egg whites, chicken, tuna, turkey and lots of water.
