Sounds like you and I come from the same political bent . . . and there's really no one who has a chance in hell of beating the usual suspects! posted by: sunnyc (reply) post date: 06.22.04 (4:15 pm) I didn't know you were in Canada! I'm looking at possibly buying a home-based bakery on Vancouver Island...=) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.23.04 (9:21 am) Reply to: sunnyc Yes, I'm in Canada :) In fact, I'm just a ferry ride away from Vancouver Island!! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.23.04 (9:22 am) Reply to: jazzydawn Only 5 days left 'til we go to the polls!! Ugh. posted by: sunnyc (reply) post date: 06.24.04 (1:39 pm) Reply to: rosietulips Hey, we might be neighbors some day...=) posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.25.04 (9:16 am) Reply to: sunnyc I think that'd be really cool if we were neighbours!! posted by: mblog (reply) post date: 06.28.04 (7:21 pm) When I got married, my wife decided to hyphenate herself. So there's no Mr and Mrs hername at my house. I get annoyed at those calls too, and at all the junk mail that talks about "the whole hername family." There is no whole family by that name. posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 06.29.04 (9:22 am) Reply to: mblog I've started saying more often that there's nobody here by that name. And they say bye before I can ask them to remove me from their list!! posted by: mblog (reply) post date: 06.29.04 (8:17 pm) Reply to: rosietulips I don't know what the laws are in Canada, but in the US, it's best to ask to be removed from their list from the start. Then again, we now have a national "dp not call" registry, so I hardly get those sorts of calls any more. |
