I ran into Patrick today while I was doing some shopping. Actually, he came looking for me, and he saw me in my work clothes. He commented I looked old(er). :? Coming from him, it sounds like a bad thing. He's cracked a couple of jokes about me being older than him by two months. I never really thought of myself as that vain, and I look forward to aging, even. But to be called old just doesn't sit well with me today. :lol: I think looks are very important to him. Looks are not as important to me because everyone's going to fall apart at some point. But he told me he wants a woman who has looks and a personality. I don't think I'm ugly by all means, but I don't think I'm head-turning beautiful!! I hope I don't get a complex. |

I think it would make me feel really insecure to be with a man who was really really interested in looks. Of course, I dont have to worry about that too much but I think if I were very conventionally beautiful, I would worry if I were with a guy who was too into that. Because, I would have to wonder...what happens when we are 40 or 50. Does he leave me for a 20-30 year old?
On the other hand, if you love someone, they become beautiful no matter what they look like so, while looks may be important to him, it is possible that he will always find you beautiful and good looking...even when you are 80 ;)
