Ugh, towel lint!!!
09.09.04 (10:34 am)   [edit]
:x

So for my new bathroom, I picked up very soft and fluffy black towels. They're very nice to touch and very nice to look at.

But use them for drying myself off??! I am left with a layer of black LINT!!!

What can I do to prevent my towels from shedding all over me??

I've washed them once. I know over time with more washings, this lint problem will be better, but is there a secret trick to helping the process go faster??!

I have never had that problem. weird. Maybe it is just those towels?

Sweetie! You must wash them again. I did a bathroom with black towels once. It was tedious....Until you get them to quit shedding, use them on the towel bars. Use real towels for bathing.

I've had similar problems with thick, fluffy towels. Lint is such an annoyance!!

Ugh! How many more washes do I need to go through??! They are sitting on my towel bars. I am afraid to use them!!

Another couple of wash cycles ought to do it. It has been a looooong time since I had them new like that. Navy is almost as bad. That is why I prefer white.

Thanks! I guess I will have a few more gos at those black towels. I want a dark grey set, too!! I had white before; I thought it was time for a change. I just want normal towels, and dangnabbit, I'm going to get it!

I'm not sure, I know someone with towels that do they exact same thing. We bought them together a long time ago, and they STILL leave gunk all over you after showering. :P Hopefully yours are different Rosie...
