Ah...the joys of having beautiful, thick, luxurious hair
10.28.04 (7:59 am)   [edit]

My head is heavy. I should probably avoid wearing my hair in a high ponytail. I thought I could handle it! I'm due for a trim soon.

I have set hair goals for myself. When I was a kid, I always had short hair. And as soon as I could, I let it keep growing...and growing. My hair is down to my waist, and it's pretty much as long as I want to go. I have no desire to have butt length hair that sweeps chairs I sit on.

And then I've always joked that I am going to cut my hair short for my 30th birthday to mark the milestone. That's what older women do, right?? Have short hair?!? And then when I tell guys this, they go  And ask, "you mean up to your chin, right? Because that would be okay."

And I reply, "no...I'm thinking more like your length."

They don't usually believe me.

I probably won't get my hair cut short any time soon...maybe when I start getting grey hair.

And for the record, I don't think 30 is old!!

I recently blogged my own hair adventures. I'm rapidly becoming one of the "folically challenged." Current status: balding with a 6 inch ponytail. If 30 was old, I'd be in a wheelchair now. :(

I think I should lower my ponytail a bit because I feel a headache coming on, too!! When my head starts to feel heavy, I know it's time for a haircut. Layers help a lot!!

*teehee* I have two years left and then I will be 30!! I was looking at my hair again this morning. It's so loooong...I was thinking having it reach my bra strap would be an okay length.

Nah, I don't think 30 is old :-) Just a milestone, perhaps :-) THanks for dropping by!
