You know, tblog just went down for me for less than a minute, but it was down while I was publishing my post. The power at work went out for less than a minute today, too. [Are we going through the mercury retrograde right now? Things not working and people returning from my past.] Anyway, I was blogging about my food preferences. 1. I don't like drinking cold beverages. I will drink my water room temperature or even hot. 2. Cheddar cheese is not very tasty. I guess it's the texture. 3. I like cold milk with my cereal, as well as chocolate cake and chocolate chip cookies. 4. I don't really care for cookies unless they're chocolate chip or white chocolate macadamia nut. Well, ginger snaps are okay, too. IKEA has some tasty ones. 5. I'm not too crazy about deep fried food. 6. Creamy sauces are gross, too. 7. Buttery food is gross, too. Just a touch of butter is okay sometimes. One time this guy cooked dinner for me and decided to not ask me about butter because he knew I wouldn't want any. His stirfry was kind of gross. |

The bit about cheese is interesting. Henry mentioned the other day that few Chinese people like cheese. Now, I have never met a cheese that I did not love. But look through any Asian cookbook and find a recipe that contains cheese? Good luck.

Ever had buttered popcorn Jelly Belly jellybeans? Those are kind of gross, too. Umm...I will leave your cereal additions alone. BWAHAHAA

YES! Not very many Chinese people like cheese. It's too stinky, apparently. But I like soft cheeses that aren't too strong (except goat cheese...that's tasty stuff!). Then again, I think a lot of Chinese people are lactose intolerant, too.
