Slow Motion

I'm just listening to this tune right now, which reminds me of dance class. I got the scoop on my dance instructors' night at the club my friends and I were at on Saturday night.

My dance instructors utilise as much dance floor as they can. And they utilise dance moves they teach. Their point is, "hey, why not? If you've got it, flaunt it!" I guess they make a good point, but if I hadn't known them and watched them on the dance floor, I would've thought, "holy moly...what is *up* with these women? hahahahaha"

So anyway, they were entertaining someone from out of town who wanted to buy a franchise from them. Their business is growing really quickly. I think their educational background was in Business. All of them hooked up with men. Tracy said she gave her guy a lapdance at the bar.

I'm not sure I could dance like them in public and not feel a little embarrassed. But I'll be starting a new class in a couple of weeks where it'll help me to become more comfortable dancing in front of people.

Time to start. I just quit drinking so you can take over for me. I think dancing is gonna just get better and better for you. I used to do it for a living and it brought out all kinds of... well, we'll talk about that later. Anyway, sorry for cutting you off on tblurt. My instructor was starting to ask me questions and class was breaking up. On another note, I looked at your photo blog and I really like it. I noticed several things: your photos are very good, you have a strange fascination with food, you're definitly not 15, you're very, very cute. Good luck in the dancing. Oh, and I'd leave the lapdances to the "professionals" without a drop of worry. Later.

Why did you quit drinking? My Asian genes can't handle alcohol well, so I just avoid it. Thanks for checking out my photoblog. I do quite enjoying photographing my food!! Thanks for all the compliments!! YOu will have to tell me more about your dancing...I want to be hot at it!!!

I quit drinking because I got on medication for seizures that I can't mix with booze. Dancing...ugh, I used to be a stripper. Actually, I did more singing telegrams than stripping for that company. Few people want to see me take of my cloths. I look like Beck. Anyway, you want to be hot, just concentrait on a firm center of gravity in your pelvis. Then work on arm and leg control. Knowing lots of steps helps too. You have something to draw from and fall back on, like a guitar player trading out licks.

Why can't Asian genes handle alcohol? My roommate's Asian and it doesn't seem to bother him. Not, that I'm encouraging you to drink.

You mentioned the singing/dancing/stripping thing to me before. I can't imagine you looking like Beck; I love the way he dances, BTW. I've learned a lot of moves from dance class; sometimes I used them when I go dancing but I'm never over the top *L* A lot, not all, of Asians are missing an enzyme in their body that breaks down alcohol. Unfortunately, I lack that enzyme, too!!

You don't have to be over the top to be good. You just have to be commited to it and have fun. Now, of course, some people are just naturally bad dancers but, I have a feeling you're not one of them.

...and according to my friends I look almost exactly like Beck. I have to admit, I can even see it a little. Just out of curiousity, what did you imagine me looking like? When you and I first started talking I had it in my head that you where a bit of a Barbie doll. These days I know better. (Sorry) *L*

I know I have rythym ;-) But I think a large part to look good is to show that you're enjoying yourself while dancing!!

I imagined you looking more like some hairy redneck!! Flannel...unkept...dark hair...

And you thought I was like a Barbie doll in what way? Plastic and fake? Or a woman who had everything? BWAHAHAHA
