At least AutoZone here in the US does that. I think others do to. Sometimes it is set so that you will get your overhaul check done at the 30,000 and 60,000 and 90,000 and 120,000 Miles (sorry don't know the KM). So might not be a big deal. My Check Engine comes on if I use any gas that IS NOT CHEVRON. Weird, but I dont' argue with it! *Grin* - kara posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 12.12.03 (11:09 am) Reply to: Sillygrrl3 That is too funny!! At least you figured out your car biz. I'm not sure if we have any Auto Parts stores, but I JUST made an appointment at my usual place. I will leave my car for the day since I'm due for an oil change and all that, and then I'm going to get my ugly snow tires on!! posted by: Sillygrrl3 (reply) post date: 12.12.03 (11:13 am) Reply to: rosietulips Tee Heee - She said she is getting snow tires!!! Heee Heee Heee! Oh - Sorry - Here in PHX we don't have those! I wonder if we have special HEAT tires!??!?! - Kara posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 12.12.03 (11:48 am) Reply to: Sillygrrl3 I think I'd rather take frozen tires than melted ones!! How warm does it stay in the winter over there?? posted by: trina (reply) post date: 12.12.03 (12:18 pm) Jonathan's birthday is on Christmas day and he feels jipped a lot too. It's funny because when he was little he was so used to other people getting presents in his birthday that one year on his brother's birthday he said, "Well, where are my gifts?" Poor kid! posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 12.12.03 (12:23 pm) Reply to: trina *teehee* That is so cute!! posted by: lynne (reply) post date: 12.13.03 (5:17 am) It could be worse, rosie. When I was growing up, I knew a set of triplets whose birthday was Christamas eve. They got a lot of combo "for all of you to share" presents. :( posted by: rosietulips (reply) post date: 12.17.03 (3:09 pm) Reply to: lynne Triplets having a Christmas Eve birthday; I guess they learned the value of sharing, well! |
