"How's the love life?" "Got a hot date tonight?" Some people ask me this every single time they start up a conversation with me. Geez. If something was going on, I'd tell you! In the meantime, just MYOB. My answers are always: "Non-existent." "No hot date." And then I get the "oh, you should be out on a date" or something like that. FFS! |

My favorite?! I just don't see why you're not married yet. Or how about this one: are you being too independent and too strong, scaring men off? No darlings. Just being myself. Waiting for a man who's man enough to handle it. Sheesh.

I don't like when people say stuff to me like "why isn't a girl like you taken?" either. Thanks for making me feel like a freak! But I guess it's all about finding that match. (or waiting for it to fall in your lap!)
